This week in writing I read some articles about the first cars and I learnt some excellent facts about cars. It took a lot of research and reading to create my drawing. Did you know that people tried to invent cars in the 1770s but were only invented in 1886.

what fact interest you the most?

Number one because I learnt that other people tried to invent cars the would run with steam that was interesting I loved your google drawing

bao bun

Mum lay curled up sadly crying and sniffling  softly to herself with her  back turned to the door. Her son walked into her room and sat down on the bed with a bright pink box. As he turned to go, Mum pinched and grabbed hold of him and he looked back into his mum’s eyes that looked as sad as ever. Mum got up and crawled over the bed to sit with her son. The boy handed her a bread treat. The pair sat together. Mum’s head rested on her son’s shoulder. Suddenly the curtains began to sway.

A few days later …

There was all the family including the girl that the bao bun was dating. They were all around the table making bao buns when the girl had made three buns, Mum and her son gazed open mouthed at them.

My letter

May 19 2020

Dear Reader

We went into lock down on the 20 of March because numbers of covid-19
were raising fast and the government did not want to lose anyone in the
country    

We are in lock down because of a global pandemic, we have had a wave of
covid-19 and the government has decided that they do not want to lose
any of the elderly.  We have been in lock down to reduce the spread of
infection so they shut the whole country down. 

In my bubble was: My mum Desma, My dad Kieran and my brother Tomas.
My mum is 49, My dad is 47 and my brother is 5.  

I liked relaxing because it was nice to have some quiet time.I also liked
reading My books in bed and during the day. I enjoyed going on long walks,
bikes and scooters . What I am going to miss the most is being with my
family. I also am going to miss watching movies at night.         

I didn’t like not seeing my friends and playing with them.  I didn’t like
being away from my family. I didn’t like not being able to come into the
shops with mum. I didn’t like mum and dad not being able to play with my
brother and me.

ON Sunday the 5th of April my brother and I did a scavenger hunt A-Z inside the house. Here is the list of all the things we found.

In a week’s time I am going to the moon and I’ve been thinking about what to take:

1. Food

I decided to take food because If I didn’t I might get very hungry. I think I should take cheese in case the moon is not made of cheese.

2. Water

I think that it is a good idea to bring water because you would be very thirsty if you didn’t have it.

   3.  Blankets

Blankets because it might get cold in space and they would be comfortable to lie on.

   4. Pillows

I think you should have a pillow because your head might get sore resting against the floor and it's good for snuggling.

5. Spacesuits

You need a Spacesuit in case you get one dirty and because you can’t go outside without one.

World's best ever ice cream

World's best ever ice cream

One normal day I was working at the ice cream factory thinking of new flavours. All of a sudden I thought of the  best flavor in the world.Mint, orange and chocolate. I started to mix it all together and sell it to the whole world. The reason why I choose these flavors is because Mint makes your breath feel so fresh and minty. The Reason why I choose orange is because the taste is unique and delicious. Finally you sprinkle chocolate chips into the mixture for some extra crunch. That is why I choose mint orange chocolate chips.

How to make balloon inflate

       How to make balloon  inflate

you will need:

• White  Vinegar
• Baking soda
• A spoon
• A balloon  
• A bottle

   

Step 1:Fill  half way with  vinegar

Step 2:Find a balloon and put 2 teaspoons of baking soda into the balloon.

Step 3 :Put the balloon on top of the bottle.

Step 4:Watch the vinegar and baking soda inflate your balloon.
